Shop name spelling on the header

My board in Kishangarh, marble town, is painted Mobile Point.

Painter missed nothing. P-O-I-N-T. Gold colour. I paid 1,800 for that board.

GST registration paper from years back say Mobile Pont. No I.

I didn't see. I don't read every letter when CA send PDF.

6 April 2025 a company from a marble unit asked bill for 4 scanners, the barcode type we keep for shop use, they wanted for their store.

I made simple invoice. Header I typed Mobile Point, like the board.

They paid. They took paper.

After ten days accounts returned it. GST name not match. Their software pull GSTIN name. It say Pont.

One letter. Whole header fight.

I sat with the GSTIN PDF. Pont. Really.

I called CA. He said you signed. Name is Pont unless you amend.

Amend is a process. Not a today evening job.

Until then, bill header should match what GST know, or at least I should not confuse the buyer.

I made a habit.

On bills, I write the GST legal name. Mobile Pont.

Under it, in small, we are also known as Mobile Point, shop board.

Some invoices I only write Pont and the address, Kishangarh, so software uncle is happy.

The marble company accepted the second print. Same number. I wrote corrected header. I kept both in file, old one cancelled with pen.

I felt angry at the painter. Painter is innocent. I am the man who didn't read.

June 2026 I still check header before download.

I type slow. I don't copy from a old Word that has Pont in one place and Point in title.

One file, one spelling.

BillOnDesk is not GSTN. It will not fetch my legal name live. I must type.

Optional GSTIN field I fill. No live government check. So if I type GSTIN of neighbour, the site will not slap me. I must not type neighbour.

I type mine. I look twice.

Shop name spelling also go wrong when helper type from memory.

He wrote Mobile Paint. Paint. Like Asian Paints. I printed. Customer of a hotel laughed. I tore.

Helper now look at a sticker I put on the monitor. Legal name. Board name. GSTIN. Phone. Pin.

He copy paste from a notepad file on phone. Still he type Paint once. I check.

Address spelling. Kishangarh people write Kishangarh, Kishangarh Rajasthan, Kishangarh Ajmer.

I write the same line CA put. Shop number, market, pin 305801.

Pin wrong on one bill. 308501. I swapped. Courier uncle later used bill for address, parcel went wrong town. Not my parcel, customer used my bill as address proof for a accessory warranty. Mess.

Header is not decoration. People copy it.

English vs Hindi. Board is English. Customer wanted Hindi shop name on bill.

I don't have Hindi tool here. Site is English. I write English name. I said sorry.

He took it. His office is English anyway.

Don't invent a fancy name on header for one rich customer. Like "Pont International Devices".

I did that in 2022 for a Delhi contractor. Looked big. His CA asked, new firm?

I said no, same small shop. Shame.

Small shop name. Correct letters. Enough.

If I have two boards, one old, one new, bills follow GST name, not the new creative board.

How I print the simple invoice

I changed board to add "and accessories". GST still Pont. Header still Pont.

Invoice number helper I use when I forget last number, invoice number helper. Prefix MP, for Mobile Pont, not MPT. I decided MP.

Don't change prefix every month because mood.

Spelling of my own name as seller. I am the proprietor. I write my name same as PAN.

Once I wrote nickname. Golu. Hotel rejected. Golu is not on GST.

Golu is for tea stall. Not for header.

Buyer name spelling also. Marble company had a private limited with three words. I missed Private. They sent back.

I ask them, send GSTIN and name screenshot. I copy. I don't invent Ltd or Pvt.

Copy paste from their WhatsApp. Then check I didn't copy their address into my shop field. Happened. My bill said seller is the marble company. I am not them.

Preview save life. Look at header. Shop. Then buyer. Then items.

If I download blind, I gift a comedy PDF.

When I correct spelling, I don't keep circulating the wrong PDF on WhatsApp. I tell them, delete old, take new.

Old PDF live forever in their download folder. I cannot enter their phone. I can only say.

Some don't delete. Then two spellings in their audit. They call me. I send the cancelled note.

Tired.

For cash memo small sales I still write Mobile Point sometimes, because mill worker don't care GST name.

For any GST talking customer, Pont.

Two worlds. Same shutters.

I am not a CA. I don't know when to amend GST name to match board.

I asked. CA said do it when you have time, documents.

I still didn't in June 2026. Lazy. Until then, I type Pont on the serious bills.

Don't laugh at one letter. Software don't laugh. Software match string.

Mobile Point is not Mobile Pont. Space and I.

I tell this to my brother in Makrana. His board is Shree Marble Mobile. GST is Sri. Shree vs Sri.

He was fighting same. I forwarded my story. He changed header. His fight reduced.

We are not poets. We are copy paste of our own registration.

If the tool has a shop name field, fill it once in the morning, check, then make all day bills.

Don't retype every customer. Retype is where Paint happen.

I keep a draft note on phone. Shop header block. Copy. Paste.

Then buyer. Then items.

Simple invoice. GST draft. Quotation. All same header. Same spelling.

If quotation say Point and invoice say Pont, company think two shops.

One shop. One spelling on paper.

The marble unit man later came for a cable. He said, your name is funny.

I said painter and GST had a fight. I live in the middle.

He smiled. He paid. I typed Pont.

Header correct. Heart still Point. Board still Point.

Paper is Pont. Until CA and I fix the government spelling.

That is the boring rule that saved a 4 scanner bill.

Look at every letter. Even the I that is missing.
